Classical osteopathy is unique in that we are concerned not only with symptoms such as a sore shoulder, sluggish digestion, or headache in isolation, but how these symptoms may result from asymmetry and restriction in other foundational areas of the body. Osteopathy is a science and philosophy that works its way back from the effects we are experiencing to their cause and then delivers treatment that considers the person as a whole.

What is Osteopathy?

The founder, Andrew Taylor Still, first introduced osteopathy in the late 1800’s as a total system of healing that recognizes the body's natural ability to self-heal and self regulate when free of obstructions which lower the vital force of the patient.

At Inspire Osteo, we use a variety of gentle manual osteopathic manipulations to treat restrictions found throughout the layers of the body that result in pain, discomfort, and or impaired mobility.
